Seamless Aluminum Gutter Services
What Are Seamless Gutters?
Seamless gutters are a type of gutter system that does not have any visible seams or joints. We use a professional-grade gutter machine that creates the gutter on-site to the exact length needed. This reduces the likelihood of leaks, and improves the overall functionality and aesthetic of the gutter system. When you’re searching for gutter installation near me, we come running! With over 20+ years of industry experience on Long Island, we’re proud to serve our community.
Seamless Aluminum Gutter Replacement
Seamless gutters typically can last around 20 years with minimal maintenance. After this time period, you may have to replace your seamless gutters. That’s why we are here for Long Island! Our professional gutter company offers both 5″ K-style, and 6″ oversize K-style aluminum gutters.
Why Aluminum Gutters?
They’re durable and manage to stay looking new for an extended period of time, and they are weather resistant. Aluminum is also lightweight, so it is easy to install. Less labor-intensive work lowers costs, making it one of the most cost-effective options. Our aluminum gutters are seamless, which significantly reduces your chances of leaks. Contact Keenridge, your local Long Island Gutter Company, and get a free quote for your aluminum gutters today!
Installation of Copper Gutters
Keenridge Construction offers the installation of Copper Gutters on Long Island and in Suffolk County. These systems are absolutely stunning, and pair extremely well with the classic and historic aesthetic of Long Island homes. They offer a curb-appeal unlike anything else, and provide a gold/metallic look. However, we don’t recommend these systems on every home, as they are quite expensive, and only look good on vintage or high end Long Island homes.
Styles Of Copper Gutters
We install only Half-round copper gutters for Long Island homes. Even though there are K-style copper gutters, we believe they don’t represent the authentic traditional appeal of copper gutters. Our experts here at Keenridge install gorgeous copper gutters in their 5″ and 6″ sizes. Although they have 7″ and 8″ sizes, we don’t install these because they don’t offer the same traditional look that makes these gutters so unique.
Are Copper Gutters Worth It?
These gutters are, without a doubt, 100% worth it. Besides adding monetary value to your home, they are useful and beautiful. Gutters are very important for directing the flow of water off your home, and you need something that’ll last. Copper rain gutters, on average, last between 60-80 years with little maintenance. Just like any other gutters, they may need to be cleaned out 1-2 times a year to remove debris.
Do Copper Gutters Turn Green?
The short answer is yes, copper gutters do turn green after about 20 years. The copper starts to green when the copper gutter system is exposed to a salty atmosphere, like we have here on Long Island and in New York. However, something like aluminum may not even last past 20 years.
Installation of Seamless Galvanized Steel Gutters
What Are Galvanized Steel Gutters?
Galvanized steel gutters are gutters made from steel, but with a thin coat of zinc. This coat of zinc offers extra protection, and provides the sought after silver look. Galvanized steel is one of the most durable materials used on gutter systems. Galvanized steel gutters are very strong and unlikely to crack under the pressure of the common debris and the four seasons. Here on Long Island, we proudly install galvanized steel gutters for residential and commercial properties.
Styles Of Galvanized Steel Gutters
We install both 5″, and 6″ oversize half-round gutters. The difference between sizes is, in most cases, between residential and commercial properties. Large gutters are ideal for commercial buildings especially as they can handle a greater volume of water. The 6-inch size provides improved water flow and is more effective in managing heavy rainfall compared to the 5-inch gutters.
Are Half-Round or K-style Gutters Better?
We only install half-round style gutters for specialty gutters. This is because they will give or preserve the traditional appeal of your Long Island home. However, it varies from homeowner to homeowner, as each home and client of ours is different. We will always offer you the best of all your options in full-detail. We are proud to be reliable a Long Island Gutter Company!
Does Keenridge Install Gutter Guards?
Yes, we do install gutter guards for Long Island homes! However, we only install aluminum gutter screens for 5″-k and 6″-k aluminum gutters. Galvanized steel and copper gutters will not receive any benefits, as the maintenance is much easier in comparison to aluminum gutters. Frequently Asked Questions About Our Gutters
When Should I Replace My Gutters?
If you find that you’re consistently needing repair for your gutters, it may be the right time to install new gutters. Gutters with areas of cracks, holes, or severe rust spots may be better off replaced. Also, if your gutters are over 20 years old, that may be good indication to replace them. However, you should consult with a gutter professional before making a decision.
What's The Difference Between "K-style" and half-round Gutters?
Half-round gutters and K-style gutters are the two most popular types of seamless gutters available. While half-round gutters are round and curved, like half a circle. K-style gutters have two flat sides and have been the standard for newer homes. K-Style gutters look like the letter “K” from their side profile. We say half-round gutters are the best choice for traditional-looking homes.
