No, we absolutely do not install 3-tab roofing and never will. 3-tab roofing has nothing but downsides to it, and will not last past 15 years. It is only slightly cheaper than modern-day architectural shingles, so we’ll go out of our way to tell you the downsides of 3-tab shingles. 3-tab asphalt shingles are the least durable roofing material and always leak. They’re also some of the least curb-appealing. The most common roofing material we replace are 3-tab shingles.
What Type Of Residential Roofing Materials Should I Install?
It mainly depends on both your goals and type of roof structure you already have, but we frequently recommend architectural shingles. This asphalt roofing material has very few downsides, lasts a minimum of 30 years, and looks great. If you have a low-pitch or flat roof on your home, we recommend EPDM, TPO, or mod-bit roofing. These options are all single-ply roofing materials, and will stay leak-free for a minimum of 30 years.
What Type Of Flat Roofing Materials Should I Install?
